# How it works

1. **Start position snapshot** — we record today's chart ranks.
2. **Market opens** — users trade YES/NO until the **cutoff** time.
3. **End position snapshot** — we record next day's ranks.
4. **Resolution** — if the final rank is **better** (smaller number) than initial rank, **YES** wins; otherwise **NO** wins.
5. **Redeem** — holders of the winning token redeem the quote token.
